Mask of Green Cards Number

Green Card Numbers Masks

Insurance Company Products / Other Terms and Conditions / Green Card Number Masks

On the insurance company's product, the user can enter a mask of green card numbers

The green card numbers mask contains the following data:

  • Valid From (Valid From)

    • User enters the beginning of mask validity

  • Valid To (Valid To)

    • The user can enter the final effective date of the mask. If this field is empty, the mask is not valid.

  • First Characters (First Characters)

    • The user enters the checked characters of the green card number. In the case of an "imported series" source, the system will use it to check if the green card number matches the mask. In other cases, it transmits the first characters as a prefix to the specified source.

  • Characters Count (Characters Count)

    • The user enters the number of characters of the green card number – the length of the number. When checking whether the green card number matches the mask, the system will use if the check is not turned off in the "do not check length" column.

    • Characters Count cannot be 0 – then in the case of e.g. "Financing Contract No. did not transfer the data to the green card number. If the system does not check the length, the "number of characters" is the maximum number of characters transferred)

  • Numbering Source (Numbering Source) – the user chooses one of the options

    • Imported Series (Imported No. Series) – the system will take the green card number from the imported series for the given insurance company

    • Framework Agreement No. (Ins. Fram. Contract No.) – the system transfers the "Insurance Company Framework Agreement No." to the green card number

    • Financing Contract No. (Financing Contract No.) – the system will transfer the "Financing Contract Number" to the green card number

    • Draft No. (Draft No.)  - The system transfers the "Draft No." from the insurance contract to the green card number

  • Don't Check Length (Don't Check Length)

    • The user turns off the green card number length check. E.g. the "numbering source" is "financing contract number" and the company has the old LS numbers to 7 characters and the new LS numbers to 10 characters. The system will transfer the LS number in the Maximum length 10 characters (see. "number of characters") and does not check the length of

The user prepares an import file of green card numbers. Saves the file in CSV format, delimited by:

The file is imported on the Insurance Company Overview/ Card of the given insurance company:

When creating an insurance contract, the system adds the green card number according to the mask settings on the insurance company's product:

In the list of green card numbers, there is a record of which insurance policy the number was used for.
