Actions

An action is used to create a calculation under the conditions specified for the event. When creating a calculation from an action, the user cannot change the parameters defined on the action.

An action can only be created by a user who has a role with permission Creating an action.

Create an action

The user creates a calculation and to save it as an action:

• Marks Save as ACTION

• Fills Title and the validity of the action

• Confirm the button Save.

When you save an action, the system saves:

• Complete calculation with the vehicle, the price of the vehicle, with all rates, including the residual value of the vehicle, service costs and other calculation parameters, including the combination of rental and mileage.

In order to correctly create a calculation from the promotion, all rates selected during the creation of the event (services, insurance, etc.) must be valid for the duration of the promotion.

Users (except the creator) can only see the Action during the validity period. The action is limited to the tag, i.e. it is only available to users who have permissions for the tag. [PĽ1] 

After the validity period has passed, users of the action will not see it in the list of actions. It is visible only to the user who created it.

Edit an action

The user who created the action can edit the action, or change its name and validity.

You can modify the calculation by using the Edit Action From the event detail. The system opens a standard calculation, which the user modifies and saves the changes. In this way, they can also edit the name and validity of the action before saving the changes. When updating/changing an action, the system recalculates the applied rates and uses the new residual value and service costs when calculating combinations.

If you want to change only the name or validity, you can do so by using the Edit Name and Validity from the event detail. The system will display a form where it pre-fills in the current name and valid from and to. The user can edit and confirm the changes using the Save.

Apply Action (Create Calculation)

A user who wants to use an action can only see the action in a read-only state. He can't edit it.

A new calculation from the action is created by the user using the Create Calculation:

• From the Events List

  • The calculator creates a calculation from the action on which the user stood at the moment of button confirmation

• From the Open Actions tab

Once the function is confirmed, the system checks:

• Validity of all applied rates. If they are:

  • Invalid

    • If some of the selected parameters are no longer valid, the system displays a message and does not create a calculation

  • Valid

    • Displays a form for the user to fill in the client's details:

      • Company Name

      • Telephone number

      • Email

    • Creates a new calculation with parameters from the action.

The created calculation is not editable for the user.

Printing, exporting, and other actions apply as with a standard calculation created without an action.
