Templates

The template is used to simplify the creation of the calculation. A template can be created by a user without permissions. When creating a calculation from a template, the user can change the parameters defined on the template.

Create a template

The user creates a calculation and to save it as a template:

  • Marks Save as TEMPLATE

  • Fills Title templates

  • Confirm the button Save.

The template is saved at the following level:

  • Vehicle

  • Vehicle List Price

  • Optional Equipment Items

  • Optional Equipment – Price

  • Additional Equipment – Price

  • Discount

  • Commodity

  • Services

  • Insurance

  • Length of lease agreement

  • Planned Yearly Mileage

  • Commission

Values are stored only at the level of selected options, not specific rates, i.e. e.g. insurance products with specific variants are stored in insurance, e.g. Accident insurance with a 5% deductible and a minimum of CZK 10,000, but no specific rate is imposed.

The template is stored in the template overview, which is accessible from the menu

Edit a template

The template can be edited using the Edit Template on the template detail that the user displays via the button Open.

The system opens the template in the form of a calculation, the user can edit the parameters and confirm the change with a button Edit the template.

Using a template (creating a calculation)

A new calculation from the template is created by the user:

  • From the template overview using the Create Calculation

    • The system creates a calculation from the template on which the user was standing at the moment of button confirmation

  • From the template detail using the Create Calculation

After confirming the function, the system will create a new calculation with parameters from the template.

If some of the selected parameters are no longer valid, the system will display a message and will not create a calculation. This can include the following data:

  • Invalid catalogue card

  • Optional equipment item that does not exist for the class

  • Non-existent product

  • Services

    • If a Service with a variant that is not available is selected on the template

  • Insurance

    • In case an insurance product with a variant that is not available is selected on the template.

Furthermore, the user works with the calculation in the standard way, as when creating a new calculation without a template.
