Provision settings

In the section Setting Up Commissions settings are defined that determine how individual commissions are calculated in the calculator.

Commission - Create/Edit/Delete Commission

A new commission can be created by default from the overview Commissions Use the Add Commission.

A tab for entering a new product will open.

Field:

  • Title

    • A required field, the value of which is displayed when selecting a product in the calculator

  • Commission Type

    • There are two checkboxes Revenue/Cost, from which one needs to be chosen

      • A revenue commission (or revenue discount) is a form of discount provided by an importer (manufacturer or official vehicle supplier) for a specific car model. This type of discount will manifest itself as a reduction in the purchase price (OC) of the car, and the seller (dealer) is informed of this discount in advance. The revenue commission is not visible to the customer as a direct discount – it serves to increase the seller's margin and thus his profit from the sale of the vehicle. In other words, the dealer buys the car cheaper, but sells it for the same price as without the discount.

      • A cost commission is an amount that a leasing company pays to the vehicle dealer as a reward for arranging financing. In other words, the seller gets a commission for the fact that the customer has taken out financing through the leasing company. This commission is an expense for the leasing company, which is why it is called a cost commission. For the dealer, it represents additional revenue to the actual sale of the car.

  • Section Do you want to enter the commission as a sum or as a percentage

    • There are two checkboxes In percentage/in CZK, from which one needs to be chosen

    • Based on the selected value, other fields are revealed

  • Commission Value

    • If a value is entered As a percentage = YES, the value for commissions in % is entered

    • If a value is entered In CZK = YES, the value for commissions in sum is entered

  • Include in payments

    • The default value is NO, if the commission is to be calculated in the installment, then it is necessary to change the value of the field to YES

  • Commission Calculation Basis

    • Fields are displayed for As a percentage = YES

    • There are two checkboxes Car Price Excl. VAT After Discount/List Price Excl. VAT, from which one needs to be chosen

    • According to the selected field, the value of the commission is then calculated in the calculator as a percentage of the given amount

  • The section Is the commission for a specific organizational unit?

    • There are three checkboxes Dealer/Importer/Brokerage, from which one needs to be chosen

    • Based on the selected value, other fields are revealed

      • Dealer

        • A commission that a dealer (dealer) receives for selling a vehicle or for arranging financing.

      • Importer

        • A commission paid by an importer (the official importer of a brand) to its partners (e.g. dealers, sales representatives or financing entities) as a reward for the sale of a vehicle.

      • Brokerage

        • A commission paid to a person or business that has facilitated a trade between two parties – for example, between a customer and a dealer or between a dealer and a leasing company.

  • Select a dealership

    • The box is displayed for Dealer = YES

    • Selection of the organizational unit for which the commission is defined (selection from the code list Organisation Units)

    • Only 20 organizations are displayed in the menu, sorted alphabetically. You need to search for organizations that don't appear by typing part of their name

  • Select a provider

    • The box is displayed for Intermediary = YES

    • Selection of the organizational unit for which the commission is defined (selection from the code list Organisation Units)

    • Only 20 organizations are displayed in the menu, sorted alphabetically. You need to search for organizations that don't appear by typing part of their name

  • Importer

    • The box is displayed for Importer = YES

    • Selection of the vehicle brand for which the commission is defined (the importer's commission is defined for one specific brand)

  • Minimum value

    • The box is displayed for Dealer = YES or Intermediary = YES

    • Required field

    • This is the lower limit that the user is allowed to enter in the calculator

    • If a value is entered As a percentage = YES, a value in % is entered

    • If a value is entered In CZK = YES, the sum value is entered

  • Maximum value

    • The box is displayed for Dealer = YES or Intermediary = YES

    • Required field

    • This is the upper limit that the user is allowed to enter in the calculator

    • If a value is entered As a percentage = YES, a value in % is entered

    • If a value is entered In CZK = YES, the sum value is entered

  • Non-editable in calculation

    • The box is displayed for Importer = YES

    • The default value is NO, if the commission calulator is to be editable, it must be changed to YES

  • Do Not Show in Calculation

    • The box is displayed for Importer = YES

    • The default value is NO, if the commission is to be visible in the calulator, it must be changed to YES

You can edit the existing commission using the button Edit, which is located on the overview Commissions. After pressing the button, the commission card will appear, where you can change anything

Removal of the commission is possible using the button Delete, which is located only on the overview Commissions.
