Calculation Functions

On the saved calculation, which is displayed as read-only, there are buttons:

• Edit Calculation

  • Function for opening the calculation in edit mode

  • A more detailed description can be found in Chap. Calculation Modification

• Export

  • When you press it, an extended menu will appear:

    • Send to e-mail as PDF

      • The system displays a window to enter the e-mail address to which the user wants to send the offer

      • By default, the system fills in the e-mail address that the user entered when filling in the customer data when saving the calculation. It is possible to change the pre-filled address

      • After confirmation Send the system sends an e-mail with an offer as an attachment (PDF format) without the possibility to preview/edit the body of the e-mail

    • Export to PDF

      • The system generates an offer in PDF format, which the user can e.g. print, save, send to the customer

      • This is the same quote that is sent using the Send to e-mail as PDF

    • Calculation List

      • The system will generate an offer in XLS format

      • The offer contains more detailed information about the inputs used in the payment calculation, e.g.:

        • Effective Interest

        • Margin

        • Residual Value

        • Insurance Contracts

        • Service Details

        • Types and amounts of commissions, etc.

      • This feature is available only to a user with a role that has permission to generate a calculation list – role Export Calculation List

    • Save as Template

      • Placement and labour with the template are described below in Chap. 3.2.1

    • Save as an action

• Use as Template for New Calculation

  • If the user chooses this option, a new calculation will be created as a copy of the original one (without a specific multi-calculation calculation) and will be automatically updated, i.e. the current rates will be fine-tuned according to the selected parameters in the calculation as of the date of creation of the new calculation. The user will work with this calculation by default as with the calculation created without copying. After saving a new calculation, it will be assigned a new calculation number and a new validity according to the settings.

    • If the calculation is not updated, the user will see a message: "It is not possible to create a new calculation due to outdated data on the source calculation". This can happen:

      • Invalid catalogue card

      • Optional equipment item that does not exist for the class

      • Non-existent product

      • Services

        • If it is selected on the template Service with a variant that is not available in the currently valid settings

      • Insurance

        • if an insurance product with a variant that is not available in the currently valid settings is selected on the template
